A very high percentage of malocclusions are due to bad habits acquired in early childhood: atypical swallowing, mouth breathing, thumb sucking, tongue thrusting…
These habits must be corrected at an early age, between 3 and 15 years old, for the correct development of the jaws and proper tooth eruption.
With the Myobrace system, Dr. Lola Escalante manages to re-educate these bad habits, ensuring your child’s facial development proceeds correctly. In most cases, they will not need orthodontics again, or it will be very minor.
What is the Myobrace System?
The Myobrace® system is a preventive pre-orthodontic treatment that focuses on addressing the underlying causes of misaligned teeth, often without the need for braces or tooth extraction, to unlock natural growth and development.
The treatment is most suitable for children aged 3 to 15 and involves the use of a series of removable intraoral appliances worn for 1-2 hours each day and overnight while sleeping.

It depends greatly on the child’s compliance with the Myobrace® treatment and their biological capacity to change habits and growth patterns. Generally, the earlier the treatment begins, the higher the success rate. Suggested treatment time with good compliance is generally two to three years, provided there are no other major health issues limiting the results.
Myobrace® pre-orthodontic treatment assists your child’s teeth and jaws to grow naturally to accommodate all their adult teeth. The treatment is aimed at achieving natural dental alignment in harmony with the body. Braces are sometimes used at the end of treatment for a short period if a perfect, picket-fence alignment is desired.
No. During the first few days, there may be a small amount of sensitivity. However, after the first few days of treatment, this sensitivity should cease.

Me acompañaron mi hijo y su pareja. En total, nos hicieron: una endodoncia y una corona, dos implantes molares, una extracción de muela del juicio, cinco empastes, una reconstrucción dental y una limpieza dental completa. Los tres coincidimos en que esta clínica es fantástica.
